Modification the plan of construction of linear structures
Mudrák, Miroslav ; Kocanda,, Pavel (referee) ; Nový, Martin (advisor)
Submitted thesis deals with planning of an implementation of a linear construction by using the contract conditions. The theoretical describes the topics of project management, engineering, procurement and traffic politics of Czech Republic. It also describes the history, status and development of the highway network. In the end there is introduced the modernized section of the D1 highway. The practical part deals with the application of the modified project Modernization solutions to the D1 highway - section 22 by introducing a shift operation during the construction. It solves the impact of shift work on phasing construction schedule, financial plan and compares the positive aspects of the solutions against the negative ones. In conclusion there is an evaluation effectiveness of the actual and modified variants of the construction.
Improvement in the System Quality of Toll’s Withdrawal in The Czech Republic
Marek, Jiří ; Orlíková, Radka (referee) ; Bartes, František (advisor)
The subject of this thesis “Improvement in the system quality of toll’s withdrawal in The Czech Republic” is to look into the problems of toll’s electronic withdrawal. The First part of the thesis describes the taxation quotas on the basis of a microwave technology, relevant legislative, troll’s outcomes, and work of the Czech Customs Administration as a control body and contains an evaluation of the electronic troll system with its advantages and disadvantages. The Second part states theoretical solutions as the EU legislative, which states a traffic policy strategy and a tax withdrawal for using the roads. Further on, it analyses the options of the troll’s electronic withdrawal on the basis of a microwave and satellite system in particular countries. The Third part focuses on its own solutions, which aim is to increase the users’ comfort while using this system. The Fourth part focuses on the benefits of the ideas for solutions stated in the part Three.
Geographics Information Systems in Transportation
Souček, Václav ; Kudrna, Jan (referee) ; Kuba,, Jaroslav (referee) ; Kačmařík, Jaroslav (referee) ; Macur, Jiří (advisor)
The work is focused on the issues associated with the use of geographical information systems in transport. Of the various types of transport was chosen railway transport for its great potential particularly in the field of freight transport, but also because it is a relatively environmentally friendly. This fact is also well known to the leaders of the European Union, who are engaged in the field of transportation. The European Commission in its documents (green and white papers) gives accent on the development of railway transportation and combined transportation, because this is the path to secure the sustainable development of transport. In the course of this study the current state of information systems several problems were discovered. One problem is the fragmentation of the partial information systems and the associated strong administrative burden. This situation stems both from the incomplete legislative framework, but also from the lack of the concept and awareness of the managerial positions. This work deals with other selected issues. The first is the area of designing the data model topology track that satisfies the requirements set out in legislation, both European and national level. The data model was designed with regard to a sufficient degree of variability. The work contains a section dedicated to the implementation of the data model and solution design of problems associated with visualization arcs. Another area is the collection of geographic data. Data collection is one of the key tasks in the implementation and maintenance of the information system. The acquisition of the geographical data can be lengthy and costly. We therefore suggest how to use inertial measurement in acquisition of topological data. This method could speed up the entire process of data capturing with sufficient precision and reduce the costs to the acceptable range.
State, Region and Municipality cooperation in planning and implementation of traffic structures: Case of completion of the D1 Motorway in the Říkovice - Přerov section
Čeladníková, Tereza ; Průdková, Karolína (advisor) ; Jüptner, Petr (referee)
This work was focused on the procedure of the state in the traffic construction realization and the intervention of municipalities and regions in this procedure. The process of approving traffic constructions can be divided into five phases, the strategic phase, the conception phase, the land preparation phase, the construction preparation phase and the pre-implementation phase. Each of these phases has certain steps that must be followed. Municipalities and regions can enter the process at several points, the most important of which is the entry into the research study, the EIA process and the territorial proceedings. Municipalities and regions can also influence the warrant approval of traffic constructions with other resources, such as media coverage of the problem, petition events and cooperation with other autonomies. Another goal of the work was to reveal what complications are taking place in approving the completion of the D1 motorway, section 0136 Říkovice - Přerov. I carried out a case study and found out that the completion of the examined section was complicated by a lack of funds, the need to repeat the territorial proceeding with obtaining an exception from the EIA process. Civic associations opposing the completion appeal against the issued decisions and submit comments against the...
Bezpečnost silničního provozu
Šaman, Radek
This Bachelor thesis deals with problems of road safety on the roads . This thesis is divided into 4 main parts. The first part is concentrated in education of the field of transport and related institution. The second part deals with the analysis of traffic accidents. The third part deals with traffic-safety campaigns in the Czech Republic. Conclusion point to principles and foundations of safe driving on the roads.
Transport in the EU with special focus on the multimodal and intermodal system
Šnobr, Michal ; Vošta, Milan (advisor) ; Vlčková, Jana (referee)
This diploma thesis analyzes the current situation of the transport system in the European Union and focuses on the multimodal and intermodal system. The first chapter focuses on the theoretical aspects of transport. It defines terms connected with transport and establishes various ways to measure it. The second chapter describes the current state of transport in the EU, provides statistics and examines the most important documents and projects (White Paper on Transport and TEN-T). The third chapter analyzes multimodal and particularly intermodal transport system and identifies the key advantages and disadvantages of this type of transport.
Comparison of taxation in roadway and railway transportation in Czech republic in years 2005 to 2016 pointing at fiscal and regulatory function of transportation taxes
Firichová, Barbora ; Chmelová, Pavla (advisor) ; Hájek, Jan (referee)
Bachelor thesis specializes in roadway and railway transportation and defines problems connected with different taxation in both sectors. Thesis helps to organize the data in transportation, which is dispensable in economy and fast developing. Thesis provides the base for making an analysis of taxation tools nad functions which they should fulfil. Attention is pointing at fiscal and regulatory function. Analytical part defines fundamental institutions in transportation and relevant strategic documents. In time from 2005 to 2016 an analysis of Czech republic is done, thesis focuses on development of transportation tax rates, development of tax income and statistical data about changes of structure in personal and freight transport. The goal is to use the analysed data for final evaluation and put them in context of the goal of Transport policy 2014-2020. Bachelor thesis is able to say that national and supranational interest may differ and so that the regulatory tendency does not always corespond with fiscal essence of taxes. The goal of Transport policy is not fulfilled yet, but the development can be considered as positive. Nevertheless the railways are not stimulated enough the roadways are not sufficiently regulated.
